I was born and raised in Seattle, in a family hell-bent on forcing me to love the outdoors. They succeeded, which is what ultimately brought me to my current home in Bozeman, Montana. As an avid mountain biker, skier, fly fisherman, and general outdoorsman—eager to expand my interests whenever possible. My life has always been surrounded by design of all types, and my interests in furniture design reflect that. My current work has taken on a more functional, simple feel. With negative space being used to emphasize the content, I find it paramount that a project serves its function before taking its form.
